Our Limerick city based client seeks a Statutory Practice Accountant to join the firm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

– Responsible for job completion within practice department of the firm consisting of

· Limited company statutory accounts, and

· Management Accounts

· Sole trader accounts

– Plan completion of jobs and resource accordingly

– Ensure file completion to a high standard (Note the firm operates a paper-less file practice)

– Communicate with client effectively and efficiently in relation to queries

– Present to a high standard the statutory accounts to the partner along with observations

Qualifications: qualified accountant with 3-5 years experience. Experience working with an accountancy practice a distinct advantage. Experience working with SME’s, Family businesses, sole traders also an advantage

Skills Beneficial to Role: High efficiency with MS Excel expected. Working experience with Sage Accounts Production, Sage One Accounting, Sage Micropay, Relate Accountancy Package would be beneficial but not a requirement.

Advancement Potential: The managing partner is focused on growing the business to be a 1m per annum fee income business. To this end, the focus of the managing partner will be focussed on business development and other business services provided by the business. Therefore the successful candidate may be expected to head up the statutory accounts division of the business. This role could develop in to a senior management role with the potential for equity share in the future.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €50,000.00-€56,000.00 per year
