Office Administrator

Our Cork city based not for profit client seeks an office administrator/front desk to join the team on a full time 9-5 basis.

The role is to ensure the efficient and effective management of the front desk by managing multiple tasks while maintaining a professional interaction at all times and creating a positive and welcoming first impression for the firm

Key Accountabilities:

 Manage all aspects of front of house activities to include face to face interactions,

phone management and email communications in a timely and professional manner

 Management of all aspects of cash handling to include, counting, bagging,

reconciling, recording donations, lodgements, credit card donations and storage box

collection

 Provide admin support to the charity around fund raising events.

 Provide assistance at charity events when required

 Manage the day-to-day activities in relation to the collection box, post, media

monitoring, office database, liaise with community groups, banking, donation receipts, filing, donation inputting and thank you cards

 Responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of the charity database this

includes data entry of fundraising events and subsequent donations, management of

data settings, donations administration, bank statement updates

 Responsible for the management of other day to day tasks to include housekeeping

items such as room bookings, rotas (bank, post, lunch) complaints logging, training

for staff, flagging major donors, charity Christmas cards, branding, update

shared folder and ensure social areas are kept tidy

 Provide assistance and put forward suggestions to the firm so as to ensure the

smooth and efficient running of the office and provide any additional support where

needed

 Ensure attendance at meetings when requested and provide updates to other members

of the team where applicable

Experience:

 Minimum 2 years’ Reception/Office Administration experience

 High level of computer literacy and proficient using databases

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to €33,000.00 per year
