Job Title: Remote Tax Advisor (Flexible, Term-Time)

Location: Remote (Ireland-based)
Hours: Flexible, term-time (minimal work in summer & December)
Pay: €200 per tax return (€100 for certain low-income clients)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Advisor to assist with the preparation and filing of income tax returns. This role is fully remote, offering complete flexibility over working hours and is ideal for someone looking for a term-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare income tax returns based on Income & Expenditure accounts provided.
Draft cover letters and email clients their tax return details.
Submit tax returns upon client approval and set up ROS debit payments for Income Tax and Preliminary Tax.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Irish tax regulations.
About You:

Qualified tax professional (CTA, AITI, or relevant experience).
Experience with ROS (Revenue Online Service) and Irish tax returns.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working autonomously and managing workload efficiently.
Good communication skills for liaising with clients via email.

Working Pattern & Payment:

Completely flexible hours; you decide when you work.
Peak work periods: January–May, September–November.
Minimal workload: June–August & December.
Paid €200 per tax return (or €100 for first-time, low-income clients).
Payment via PAYE (can be per return or on a monthly salary basis).
Typical Workload & Earnings:

Average: 2 tax returns per day, 4 days per week, for 25 weeks per year.
Estimated annual earnings: €40,000.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €35,000.00-€40,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 – 38 per week
