
Financial Sales Advisor

Our Cork based client (near the Airport) has a new opportunity for a Sales Professional to join their established financial services company.
Now that they expand their operations, they are seeking an experienced financial advisor to join their sales team to maximise the exciting and lucrative sales and business development opportunities that are being presented to their company from many different business referral sources.
There is an opportunity for hybrid work once trained up and there is an opening for a qualified person who has the capacity to work anything from 20 hours a week up to full time hours
Role Overview:
If successful, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the company. You will be part of a team of dedicated group of sales professionals with an ambitious but realistic sales target. The role will demand a strategic mindset, exceptional advisory skills, and a deep understanding of the Irish Life and Pensions landscape particularly in relation to retirement planning and protection.
Key Responsibilities:
Be part of our team of sales representatives in order to achieve individual and company sales targets.
Adhere to our strategic and best practice in-house sales tracking processes and systems to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
Follow our efficient sales pipe-line process in conjunction with our product providers in order to allow the prompt processing and issue of new business.
Manage, implement and regularly review personalised sales plans for each member of the sales team.
· Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
· Meet your own personal sales targets as laid out in your contract of employment.
Ensure that the sales process includes the timely completion and sign off of all Client files ensuring that they fully meet the current compliance standards laid out by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Adhere to all relevant rules and requirements of The Central Bank of Ireland as regards the sales process including all aspects client contact, information exchanged and final product recommendation.
Monitor and Account your commission receivable figures in terms of point in time actuals and accruals and having this data ready for the MD once per month.
· Liaise with all relevant parties to the sales process such as the payroll team, life company representatives to ensure that all Life and Pensions related direct debit payments are set up properly and in line with the clients requirements.
· Build favourable business relationships with the Life Companies, internal Account Managers, colleagues and all other parties relevant to generating and maximising sales opportunities across all product offerings.
· Liaise with the MD to help organise 3 to 4 specific sales campaigns per year in conjunction with the Life and Pensions Producers.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in the Irish Financial Services Industry as a Senior Sales Advisor with proven experience of leading and motivating a successful sales team.
· Hold a minimum of both the QFA & CFP qualifications and proof of maintenance of all relevant CPD requirements.
· A high degree of personal organisation and a structured approach to time
and resource management.
· Be Goal oriented and capable of taking personal responsibility for supporting members of the company sales team.
· Excellent technical knowledge and practical experience across all Life and Pensions products and services.
· Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a high-pressure environment.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to achieving targets and problem-solving.

This position offers competitive salary with bonus and benefits as follows:
Salary: Based on experience
Employer Pension contribution – 5% of gross salary.
Death In Service Cover – 3 times gross basic salary

Performance-related Remuneration
You will have a personal annual target and will receive a commission-related bonus of a % on all sales achieved over and above this amount.
This will be measured on a calendar year basis. Please note that in the event of any absence, these payments will be pro rata to reflect the time you have worked during the reference period.
Your Package will be reviewed annually in line with company and individual performance.
