
Family Law Solicitor
Fully Remote
As a Family Law Solicitor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Client Interaction: Provide clear, professional, and empathetic advice to clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, domestic violence, maintenance, and property settlements.
Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare legal documents such as affidavits, applications, consent orders, and settlement agreements.
Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research and keep up-to-date with developments in family law and relevant case law.
Collaboration: Work closely with the admin support team and the supervising solicitor to ensure smooth and effective case management.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements under Irish law.
Client Management: Maintain strong client relationships and provide high-quality, client-focused service.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Fully qualified Solicitor in Ireland with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in family law.
Proven experience in managing District Court and Circuit Court family law matters.
Strong knowledge of Irish family law, including divorce, judicial separation, cohabitation, child custody, access, guardianship and maintenance and domestic violence cases.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong research skills and the ability to stay updated with developments in family law.
Desirable:
Experience in negotiating and drafting family law agreements and orders.
Familiarity with court filings and document management systems.
Experience working remotely in a similar role.
