Our Glanmire based client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting technician to join their team on a full time basis, 40 hours per week but there is lots of flexibility in terms of start & finish times.

Also, opportunity for some hybrid/work from home after 6 months.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

Client Bookkeeping requirements:
– Entering purchase invoices;

– Entering supplier payments;

– Entering customer invoices & receipts;

– Preparation of monthly supplier reconciliations;

– Bank and control account reconciliations; Nominal ledger analysis;

Preparation of small enterprise financial statements;
Processing of VAT & RTD returns and ensuring compliance to filing deadlines;
Preparation & submission of VIES & Intra-stat returns;
A knowledge of payroll processing would be beneficial but not essential;
Maintaining and developing strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
The ideal candidate will have:

Completed the Accounting Technicians Ireland course;
Previous experience in a practice environment essential;
Experienced with ROS, Relate and cloud-based software such as Surf Accounting;
Strong attention to detail & excellent organisational skills;
Ability to meet deadlines;
Results driven and forward thinking;
Excellent communication skills.

Pay: €38,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
