Parents with children up to the age of 12 years old will have the right to request flexible work and along with the new directive for the right to request remote work is reflective of what is happening in the labour market at the moment. The appetite for flexible and remote work, while always very strong pre covid has become the number 1 request from people seeking employment.
Companies who are authentic in their offering and not just paying lip service to this, will undoubtedly be the winners in the current war for talent.
