Our Shannon based client seek a new Finance Manager to join their busy team as one of the existing Finance Managers moves within the company.

The client is happy to consider speaking with candidates interested in working 3-

The salary outlined (50-55k) is based on a full time rate so will be pro-rated if you wish to work 3 or 4 days per week.

The role includes:

Control & maintain purchase ledger

Prepare month end payment runs

Liaise with Ops/Engineering & Leadership team

Preparation of Monthly Client Billing Packs

Control & maintenance of Purchase Ledger

 Prepare Month end payment runs

 Verify Suppliers Statements

 Deal with supplier Queries re: payment as they arise.

 Post Bank Transactions & Reconcile Bank Accounts on a weekly basis

 Control & maintenance of General Ledger eg. Accruals & Prepayments

 Manage Finance Task Program – Finance Department contains 1 Book-keeper.

Finance manager will be required to review work completed and assign additional tasks where necessary

 Process Payroll on a monthly basis

Competencies:

 Ability to work in a dynamic environment and liaise with other department heads

within the organisation

 Ability to work in a time-efficient manner

 Ability to work on own initiative.

 Ability to prioritise

 Strong understanding of Accounting Fundamentals in particular Double-Entry

Requirements:

 Proficient with Microsoft Office in particular Microsoft Excel

 Wide ranging experience in practice and/or industry would be advantageous

 Accredited Qualification from relevant professional body – ACA, ACCA, CPA etc.
