Our Shannon based client seek a new Finance Manager to join their busy team as one of the existing Finance Managers moves within the company.

The salary outlined (50-55k) is based on a full time rate so will be pro-rated if you wish to work 3 or 4 days per week.
The role includes:
Control & maintain purchase ledger
Prepare month end payment runs
Liaise with Ops/Engineering & Leadership team
Preparation of Monthly Client Billing Packs
Control & maintenance of Purchase Ledger
Prepare Month end payment runs
Verify Suppliers Statements
Deal with supplier Queries re: payment as they arise.
Post Bank Transactions & Reconcile Bank Accounts on a weekly basis
Control & maintenance of General Ledger eg. Accruals & Prepayments
Manage Finance Task Program – Finance Department contains 1 Book-keeper.
Finance manager will be required to review work completed and assign additional tasks where necessary
Process Payroll on a monthly basis
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and liaise with other department heads
within the organisation
Ability to work in a time-efficient manner
Ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to prioritise
Strong understanding of Accounting Fundamentals in particular Double-Entry
Proficient with Microsoft Office in particular Microsoft Excel
Wide ranging experience in practice and/or industry would be advantageous
Accredited Qualification from relevant professional body – ACA, ACCA, CPA etc.
