About the Role

Our client is seeking a part time assistant to the Finance Manager – currently 20 hours per week. You will report to the Financial Manager. You’ll be joining a very highly experienced team which is always striving to improve efficiency of delivery and increased customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

The main aspects of the role are:

· Process Payroll,

· Bank reconciliations,

· Monthly accounts preparation,

· VAT returns,

· Accounts payable

Assist manage all other day-to-day aspects of the finance function.
Process of all financial transactions in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.
Other ad hoc duties as required
As an Assistant Finance Manager, the post will require the following:

A fully qualified Accounts Technician or recognised accounting qualification
Previous experience working within a similar role an advantage
Excellent knowledge of Excel and IT Systems
Organised, accurate, with good productivity and proven attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
A positive, can do attitude
Desirable would be knowledge of Sage Line 50, MS CRM systems, Micropay payroll. Knowledge of Business Central would also be an advantage.
Part time role 20 hrs per week
