Our Limerick city based client (a Limerick city based accountancy practice) is seeking a finance professional to join their team to support some of their larger clients. The role is a Financial Outsourcing Specialist and will be approx 24 hrs per week.
The client is a very exciting growing brand in the agri-business arena.
The 45k-48k salary is based on full time rate so will be pro rated accordingly.
The duties will include;
Raise & issue Sales Invoices to Clients promptly & accurately.
Receive Payments and allocate on Sales Ledger
Control & maintenance of Creditors Ledgers
Post invoices Promptly & accurately
Prepare Month end payment runs
Verify Suppliers Statements
Deal with supplier Queries re: payment as they arise.
Post Bank Transactions & Reconcile Bank Accounts on a weekly basis
Process Payroll
Post Recurring General Ledger Transactions
Competencies:
Ability to work in a multi-company environment and liaise with other team
members within the group structure
Ability to work in a time-efficient manner
Ability to work on own initiative.
Strong understanding of Accounting Fundamentals in particular Double-Entry
Requirements:
Proficient with Microsoft Office in particular Microsoft Excel
Experience with an established Accountancy software eg. Xero, Sage,
Quickbooks etc.
Wide ranging experience in practice and/or industry would be advantageous
Suitably Qualified
